The
"Knowledge of life and long livedity” as the
world meaning of Ayurveda is the oldest system of treatment
which has its origin 5000 year old Indian Vedas. The main
origin book being ATHARAVEDA.
This holistic and natural healing system
was special because it believed first in 'PREVENTING THE
HEALTH OF HEALTHY MAN by righteous living and secondly curing
diseases. In the context it believed to keep the human health
and immunity developed by its different ideologies of diet,
yoga, meditation, ayurvedic rejuvenation techniques, natural
herbal medicines, massage etc so that no diseases ever enters
its domain of health
With the advent of western medicine &
man's belief that he could master his health with chemicals,
a darkened phase of ayurveda also came. But from the past
century its again began to be popular with its successful
cure rate in all diseases especially, diseases related with
Auto immunity like Cancer, SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHROMATUS (SLE)
IBS (IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME).
Basic
principle of treatment:
The
science offers a treatment of by natural and holistic way
to problems of not only the human body but also human mind.
Spirit and consciousness.Ayurveda always believed in considering
human beings a creature of emotions who can get diseases
also if their mind is not balanced. And thus considers mind
and body as of same origin. This is not considered in the
western medicine which basically sees human being as a machine
with separate system, organs and tissue that separates the
mind and body into distinct categories
Ayurveda this is mesmerizing science which
employs a variety of natural means to bring harmony to physiology
including massage. Diet, herbs spices, minerals, exercise,
meditation, mental balance techniques to eliminate toxic
substances from the body. Panchakarma,, therapies , massage
etc.
Thus the science offers an ever promising
'health' to each person even to the person who reads fragment
of its knowledge in magazines and is as deep as the sea
holding mystic secrets of health to its learner.
